The Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed every minute of their thematic learning on the topic of autumn.
We learned about the signs of autumn in relation to the weather, painted some beautiful autumn trees and went on an autumn hunt around the school grounds in search of pine cones, berries, leaves and conkers. We used the leaves that we collected to do some lovely leaf tracing!
We also learned so many fun facts about hedgehogs and squirrels- did you know that a squirrel's front teeth never stop growing?! We interviewed one of the older students who had a hedgehog visit his garden on many occasions last year. After all our hard work, we treated ourselves to some delicious blackberries!
