The girls completed their own piece of history on Wednesday with their own blitz in Ashbourne. I believe it is the first time a Camogie team has donned the school jersey and what a performance they put in.
Boosted by the huge strides and sacrifices of Blackhall Gaels, the children displayed their talents throughout and it was a really enjoyable day.
The team played three games and did the school so proud.
It was a fabulous day for Camogie and the first of many outings it is hoped for the girls.
Well done to all and a thank you to Ger Sadler also who provided extra equipment if needed.
