We celebrate Catholic Schools Week every year. The theme of this week for 2024 was 'Communities of Service.' The grandparents of our pupils were invited to join us in school for a whole school assembly led through prayer and reflection. We held a prayer service where we thanked God for grandparents and remembered St. Brigid and her kindness towards others. Our pupils who led us during the assembly brought up symbols, read readings, prayers and reflections.
Following the prayer service, each class performed a party piece for the audience of grandparents. There was a wonderful atmosphere in the school with proud grandparents delighted to celebrate this event with their grandchildren. Thank you to the Parents Association committee volunteers who assisted with serving refreshments.
