Unfortunately, our year has been cut short after a defeat today to Kill N.S. in an absorbing encounter between two fantastic teams. The team gave it everything as always and fought for every single ball, but it was not to be in the end. Huge credit must go to all panel members who have turned out in their droves for training all year and all can be proud of the great strides they have made in their football ability.
The girls were impeccable as always and roared the team forward. They too have to be commended for their application in all the games this year. A pity their season is cut short too, but they have been fantastic to coach and bring on match outings.
Huge thanks to all the parents for having the children so well prepared, the parents who help out in after school football and the school itself for allowing the games to be played. Big thanks to Blackhall Gaels underage coaches who have mentored the kids so well and also to Niamh and all the pitch committee who have allowed every pitch request and have the pitch in phenomenal shape each time.
