3rd and 4th class made their second trip this academic year to Dunboyne Library. Once again we had an extremely enjoyable and worthwhile visit. The children are growing in confidence and familiarity in their ability to locate a particular genre of work or a particular author or topic that they are interested in. Most children now have their own library cards and frequent the library in their own time. The children enjoy requesting a book with the librarian that they would like to read so that it is available for them on their next visit to the library. We also borrowed some Christmas themed books for our own Christmas themed shelf in our school library. Each class will have the opportunity to visit the school library next week and spend some time reading some Christmas themed stories.
