A GAA blitz for 3rd and 4th Class was held recently in Kilcloon GAA pitch for all the local schools of Blackhall Gaels GAA. Rathregan NS and Kilcloon NS took part also.
It was a fantastic day for the children to get to play with their peers and indeed teammates from the other schools and a huge thanks goes to Mr. Keogan of Kilcloon NS for organising same as always.
The children had a great time playing for different county teams and the health of the club is in good stead judging by the football and hurling on show.
The spirit of the games award went to Joshua Fortune Byrne in 4th Class who epitomised perfectly the attitude of sportsmanship that the day deserved. Well done.
