Mulhussey N.S. is one of eleven schools across the county who have successfully been chosen to partake in the STEAM Meath programme, a programme funded by META.
Back in November, we welcomed Niamh Gregory who is the designated STEAM facilitator for our school. Niamh facilitated a STEAM workshop with the Junior and Senior Infants. The pupils got the opportunity to use the STEAM Park Lego Education packs to complete a range of play-based tasks. They worked as engineers to 'Design, Build and Test' various models. Since then, the children have been working away exploring the packs. They are really enjoying using gears, turntables, hinged bricks and winches to create models that move. We look forward to welcoming back Niamh next week to show her the progress we have made!
