Our 5th and 6th class pupils continue to be part of the 'Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers' (BLAST) Initiative. The aim of this project is to give pupils the opportunity to work with a professional artist on a unique project. This initiative supports children and young people for the future, where skills like the ability to connect and collaborate with others, engage in creative and critical thinking and practice inclusivity at every level will be paramount to peace, stability, sustainable economic growth and equality.  

Last year our pupils worked with Drama expert Ciara Cassoni who delivered an engaging programme focused on developing student voice and self-esteem. This year our pupils will be working with Vocal Artist Deirdre Shannon and we look forward to the journey of the project she has planned for our 5th and 6th class pupils.
