We are in the process of renewing our Amber Flag. During this week, we focused on activities linked with a positive mindset including mindfulness colouring and meditation. Our pupils wore orange/amber to school on the Friday of this week to raise awareness of our commitment to renewing our Amber Flag and the charity Pieta House. Our pupils enjoyed a wellbeing walk around our large school pitch. Each class had the opportunity to engage in a yoga session focused on relaxation. Our gymnastics coaches from School Fitness Ireland, continued their block of six weeks with a gymnastics session for all classes.

Our 3rd and 4th class pupils from our school choir visited Dunboyne Nursing Home to sing songs for the residents. This visit brought great joy to the residents and staff and nurtured our community links.
